We develop data centers to ready-to-build status
The starting point is a grid connection point with available load capacity. At handover, a project includes:
- 01Land – secured from the exclusivity agreement through to the notarised purchase agreement with the landowners
- 02Grid connection – connection request, technical connection concept, coordination with transmission and distribution system operators through to the grid connection agreement
- 03Planning rights – existing commercial/industrial zoning or a zoning plan procedure through to adoption; urban development contracts
- 04Studies & concepts – noise, environment and species protection, traffic, ground conditions, cooling and waste heat, site servicing with water, wastewater and fibre
- 05Permits – building permit application through to approval; where required, an emission control permit for the backup generators
- 06Handover – to an operator, or joint delivery in a joint venture

Who we are
Tayra Infrastructure develops data center sites in Germany. Our team comes from renewable energy project development and brings the experience a site needs on its way to ready-to-build status: close coordination with the municipalities that shape the process and with the landowners through to land acquisition; grid connection requests, planning rights and permitting with the aim of the highest possible certainty of delivery. Today we do this work for data centers – from the first idea for a plot of land to ready-to-build status.
We work closely with everyone involved on the ground. Municipalities, public offices, specialist authorities and grid operators are involved from the start, because a project only holds when everyone involved knows its requirements and impacts. We share project overviews, grid data and site plans in confidential conversations.
